African American Philosophy (AFAM)
Edited by J. Everet Green, Rockland Community College.
African American Philosophy (AFAM) solicits manuscripts in all areas of philosophy within the African-American Experience and on emerging paradigms within the broader tradition of Africana Philosophy. These may be monographs or collective volumes. Monographs on past masters, pioneers and current thinkers within the tradition are welcome. Of special interest are studies investigating issues related to black aesthetics, social and political philosophy, intersection of race, class, and gender studies linking African American Philosophy to other philosophical traditions. The editors are especially interested in conference proceedings focusing on African-American Philosophy.
AFAM is a special series in VIBS, the Value Inquiry Book Series.
